In the course of my adult life, I have, like most, suffered from failure, trauma, ethical dilemmas, and moral injury. For many years, that suffering drove my actions, thoughts, and behaviors. Thereby, creating a narrative that neither served nor informed my perceptions of reality.

In late 2013, I left the British Army. Neither society nor I were prepared for each other. Subsequently, In early 2014 I ran away to Colombia, South America to escape a life I felt uncomfortable living.

While in Colombia, I experienced indigenous plant medicine. The limited, but potent, experiences I had profoundly altered my life. Furthermore, exposure to the world of fungi, mushrooms, and moss have led me to Re-Org. Fungi helped me rearrange and reorganize my ‘self,’ and as a broken veteran, aspiring educator, and curious soul, I wish to share what I have learned.
